The CTS contamination that was so well documented in Rebecca Bowe's Mt Express article Fail Safe? in the July 11-17 has been the subject of lots of talk, meetings, media attention, water and well sampling, but so far no cleanup. The site has been a documented health hazard for over 20 years and a recent group of citizens have formed a coalition called Alliance for Environmental Safety. This blog is intended to function as the message board for this organization. The blog will not function as much like a traditional blog with one person posting lots of information, but more of a community discussion. Please post comments, questions, and concerns to this blog to help the community stay up to date with the progress and lack of progress from this inactive hazardous waste site. I hope this helps the group organize to better push for a full cleanup.
